On May 29, a widely successful Canadian Muslim event, Reviving the Islamic Spirit, is hosting it's first conference here in the US.  A unique event where Muslims from all corners convene to learn about different opinions and backgrounds, building strength from one another, RIS conferences have been extremely popular and successful in Canada, boasting over 15,000 attendees last year. 

This year, RIS is gracing the US market in Long Beach, California, and is expecting a strong host of speakers ranging from Abmassador Shabazz (Malcolm X's daughter), Shaykh Hamza Yusuf, Ustaz Amr Khaled and Shaykh Abdallah bin Bayyah.
